Tumas Group is seeking to recruit an IT Administrator to join the IT department on a full-time basis. Reporting into the IT Manager, the selected candidate will work on a range of technologies and devices in different areas of the company and will support users in day-to-day issues.
Key responsibilities include:
User Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide first-line technical support to users regarding software applications and IT systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Access, WordPress, Shireburn software, and other IT applications.
SharePoint & Power Automate Support:
- Assist users in navigating and utilizing SharePoint for document management and collaboration.
- Help implement and support automated workflows using Power Automate for business processes.
- Support training sessions for staff on SharePoint features and Power Automate capabilities.
Microsoft Active Directory Management:
- Assist in managing user accounts, groups, and permissions through Active Directory.
- Help with onboarding and offboarding processes, including the creation and deactivation of user accounts.
WordPress Management:
- Assist with maintaining and updating the company’s WordPress site, including content updates and plugin management.
- Troubleshoot common issues related to WordPress performance and usability.
Shireburn Software Support:
- Provide assistance with Shireburn software, addressing user inquiries and troubleshooting problems.
- Support users in understanding and leveraging the software’s capabilities for effective use in their roles.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain documentation for procedures, user guides, and troubleshooting steps for software applications.
- Assist in reporting and analyzing data from various applications to help optimize processes.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with other IT team members to enhance software functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access, including database management and report generation.
- Basic understanding of SharePoint, Power Automate, and their functionalities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory for user and permission management.
- Experience with WordPress for website management and content updates.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with a focus on user support.
- Detail-oriented mindset with good analytical skills to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and interact effectively with end-users.
Applicants in possession of the following attributes will be preferred:
- A minimum of three (3) years work experience in an IT support role or a similar position.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with IT service management principles.
- Understanding of Shireburn software.
- Willingness to learn new software and technologies as required.
